Leaving Vancouver
This is a picture of the Vancouver and Canada Place as our ship, the Regent Navigator set sail. We set sail yesterday and tomorrow we will dock at our first port of call which is Ketachan, Alaska.
For the last year I have been involved with a wonderful group of women and men who make and send out quilts for cancer patients. The quilts are sewn and hand printed with Bible scriptures. These quilts are distributed for free to anyone who is suffering from cancer. Please contact me if you know of a friend or family member who has cancer and would benefit from having and inspirational quilt.
I have to thank my friends Jackie and Colleen for getting me started with this blog. I live with my husband; Steve, my dog; Glory, and numerous cats. I like to make jewelry and take jewelry classes from Colleen. (Her blog is the Beadmetaler) I also like to hike, kayak, ski and cook.
beautiful ship with all the sails!
